OMG, we did it! Now make your voice heard!
OMG! WE DID IT!
With a groundswell of your support, I’ve raised $294,400 since I announced my candidacy for State Assembly, 2012. Over 920 of you have donated to help make me the front-runner in this race — unprecedented for a new candidate a year out from the primary. I cannot thank you enough.
But things are about to change. Just a few days ago, the Citizens Redistricting Commission released their final drafts of the new Assembly Districts for California and other people are looking to enter the race for what will now be the new 50th Assembly District. Tailor-made for my resume and history, AD 50 is anchored by Santa Monica/Malibu on the coast and running east to West Hollywood and parts of Hollywood. (Learn more about this new district.)
We have the momentum. We’ve got a huge head start in endorsements, dollars, and donors. Let’s send a message to the residents of the new 50th Assembly District that this campaign is a movement of people, and this election is about bringing positive, progressive change to California.
Here’s what you can do TODAY: add your name to the growing list of citizen endorsers!
I’ll prominently and proudly display on my website the names of this campaign’s endorsers. We’ll provide you a “#to2012” Twitter and Facebook icon to use on your social media profiles for your generosity. Having a great list of supporters like you will send a clear message to other candidates that this campaign is the leader not only in dollars but in voices. And that Assembly District 50 wants a true champion for change — for sanity and humanity — in Sacramento.
Your support is critical to this campaign as we rush toward the June 2012 primary. We are dedicated to an inclusive, exciting campaign with a mission of change in Sacramento. Only continuing our grassroots momentum will secure and sustain our spot in the lead.
